CSS Snippet for checkboxes in Obsidian.

Compatibility: Obsidian v1.6.5

RemixIcon font required (otherwise the checkmarks will just be placeholder boxes).

Inspired by and with a few snippets of code from: Nicer Checkboxes by kepano and rsdimitrov, deathau's checkboxes, and SlRvb's ITS checkboxes.

Combines the features of these, with my custom colors and a few tweaks. Works best with a font size of 16 (Obsidian default).

How to Install

  1. Download the repository ZIP below
  2. Unzip it and find the CSS snippet file
  3. Move the CSS file into your vault's .obsidian/snippets/ folder
  4. Open Obsidian → Settings → Appearance → CSS Snippets → Enable it
