Sitting kit for a green Windows setup: Obsidian vault, Claude Code, private GitHub, File History to a USB drive.

This repo is not the vault. The vault is a private repo named second-brain on the friend's GitHub account, created during the sitting.

Tomorrow

  1. Open SETUP.md. Drive it in order.
  2. When SETUP says to paste, paste BOOTSTRAP-PROMPT.md into Claude Code at C:\Vaults\Second-Brain.

What this is not

Not a clone of a Mac Time Machine / launchd / encrypted-bundle stack. Day 1 is GitHub (offsite git) plus Windows File History (USB). No Obsidian Sync. No OneDrive on the vault folder.

Commands come from claude-commands minus /captain. Skills plugins: Superpowers and Elements of Style.

How to Install

  1. Download the ZIP or clone the repository
  2. Open the folder as a vault in Obsidian (File → Open Vault)
  3. Obsidian will prompt you to install required plugins
